What is our AI governance toolkit

Our toolkit is designed to help your AI governance journey, ensuring that you have the documentation in place to support effective and ethical use of AI. It uses a combination of guidance (to help you understand what’s necessary, advisable, and optional), policies (for you to customise and implement) and records (for you to complete and maintain).

The Toolkit comprises 6 parts:

  • A guide to help you navigate the toolkit and your compliance journey, with advice notes on the EU AI Act, and how to complete the toolkit documentation
  • AI Use Policy – a user-friendly policy for everyone in your organisation setting out key AI usage conditions
  • AI Governance Policy – a comprehensive policy for your compliance and governance leaders addressing AI governance principles, roles, actions and objectives
  • AI Systems Record – an inventory of AI systems and a schedule of monitoring activities
  • AI Procurement Playbook – step-by-step process to be followed when procuring new AI systems
  • AI Risk Assessment – short and long form options with a screening questionnaire to determine which is required

We provide the toolkit bundled with implementation meetings, audits and document reviews depending on your requirements.
