Royal Life

Cripps are acting for groups of investors who purchased holiday lodges on holiday sites. Following the administration of the company that sold the lodges and managed the holiday sites, our clients’ lodges have been subject to number of competing claims from other entities claiming ownership of the lodges. The claims are currently being dealt with in the High Court under the CPR 86 stakeholder claim procedure.

Inspired Properties

We acted for a group of 87 investors in a claim against a mini-bond provider for the mis-selling of a mini-bond. The matter involves novel arguments regarding whether the activity of issuing and selling a mini-bond is a regulated activity under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 (SI 2001/544).

Unbeatable Hire

Cripps are acting for a group of buyers of mobile homes. Our clients bought mobile homes from a company completely unaware that the mobile homes were already subject to a chattel mortgage. We are currently defending our clients from actions being brought by the lenders under the tort of conversion.
